For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 ounces each, skin-on or skinless
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • For the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (plus more for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Prepare the Salmon

  • Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil, ensuring an even coat.

Step 3: Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and zest until well combined.
